Aeroframe Airepairs, LLC

is centrally located in Memphis, Tennessee. Airepairs is a subsidiary of Aeroframe Services of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Aeroframe (a premier aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul facility located at Chennault Airpark in Lake Charles, LA) announces the purchase of “The Memphis Group’s Airepairs” unit located in Memphis, Tennessee. The purchase closed on September 30, 2007 and the Memphis facility opened as Aeroframe Airepairs on October 1, 2007.

This acquisition is a response to demand by aircraft operators to provide a comprehensive service offering. Aeroframe believes this is the first of several vertical expansion events that will address this market demand and ensure Aeroframe is a world leader in aviation support services.

Aeroframe, established in 2000, is a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility (MRO), primarily for Airbus aircraft and the largest employer at Chennault Airpark.According to a ‘Chennault Economic Impact Study’ Aeroframe has an Estimated 54 million dollar annual spending impact on the local economy.

The Memphis Group (TMG), a GECAS company affiliate, is the third largest aviation parts distributor in the world, servicing a wide range of Airbus, Boeing and McDonnell-Douglas types. TMG businesses include parts trading, parts leases and exchanges, repairs management and aircraft dismantling.
