Program Summary
Complete Program duration is 18 months
General Laborer ($10.50 per hour)
- Six weeks
- All General Laborers are eligible for benefits (including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation, paid-time-off and disability)
- At end of six weeks (evaluated on attendance, aptitude and work ethic) Supervisor nominates General Laborers to be considered for Apprentice Program.
Apprentice Stage 1 ($12.00 per hour )
- Six weeks classroom/lab training (craft specific)
Apprentice Stage 2 (Remains at $12.00 per hour until 6 months with Aeroframe)
- Immediately following the six weeks of classroom/lab training there will be three to six months supervised on-the-job-training (OJT)
Apprentice Stage 3 (6 months with Aeroframe $13.00 per hour)
- Continuum supervised on-the-job-training (OJT)
- With eligibility to join Piece Rate Program
Apprentice Stage 4 (12 months with Aeroframe $14.00 per hour)
- Supervised on-the-job-training (OJT)
- Join Piece Rate Program
Jr. Aircraft Mechanic (18 months with Aeroframe $15.50 per hour)
- With all documented OJT and completion of all course material Apprentice maybe eligible for Airframe sign-off after 18 months
- Once Airframe License is received an additional pay increase ($1.00 per hour) received
