Buyer
Responsible for the procurement of parts and materials related to the support of aircraft maintenance operations. Will issue purchase orders, research part numbers to ensure accuracy, run daily reports and update PAQ shortage items with supplier information. Candidate will maintain tracking of customer approvals for items exceeding dollar thresholds, review upcoming work packages, expedite past due orders, and coordinate payments to suppliers. Will determine qualified suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules. Must maintain a high level of productivity in a fast paced environment, as well as handle other complex procurements, such as aircraft services, purchase/exchange contracts for Rotables, etc. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. This individual needs the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. BS/BA degree or the equivalent required with a minimum of three years directly related experience. Bay Supervisor
Interfaces with customers and AFS personnel concerning needs and information pertaining to specified projects, and assesses personnel scheduling needs per project. Tracks budget hours and cost of project by bidding on upcoming jobs and estimating man hours for non-routine work. Interfaces with Materials, Engineering, Quality Control and any other person/dept as needed in order to assure complete satisfaction. Responsible for approving and adjusting timekeeping for Maintenance Technicians. Identifies test equipment and confirms calibrations are current. Researches SB & EOÕs, ADÕs for work content, tools, materials and skill requirements. Works closely with Project Manager in all phases of aircraft repair. Must possess Airframe and/or Powerplant License, High School diploma or greater, minimum (2) years experience in large aircraft environment, preferred (5) years heavy jet experience. EEO employer.
Director of Quality
Position is responsible for ensuring that all inspections are properly performed and documented. Maintains repair orders and inspection forms pertaining to components and/or aircraft. Ensures all reports, audits and surveillance is conducted timely and accurately. Ensures that stamp roster and employment summaries are maintained. Is liaison for FAA and Customer Audits. Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Training report to this position. Must have an Airframe and Powerplant license, plus 5 years heavy aircraft maintenance, and Quality Control experience. Minimum 5 years prior Quality Management experience. Prior knowledge of SRM, FARÕs, Audit Procedures, RSM, OCPM and basic inspection experience. Materials Manager
Oversees day to day operation of the Material Department including all materials incoming and outgoing. Ensures quality of parts and materials associated with FAA/Carrier paperwork. Identifies, controls, segregates, inventories and maintains all stock and tools to be in the serviceable or unserviceable category as designated by the Chief Inspector. Distributes any miscellaneous Materials information to other departments as needed. Maintains stock levels for production to support daily operations. Supports Production productivity. Monitors items being ordered against past usage. Properly handles all articles or parts, while in inventory including parts that are subject to deterioration and shelf life specification. Performs other duties as assigned.
Planner / Estimator
Reviews, estimates and provides man-hour costing for new customers. Provides work-scopes, and researches effectivity. Interfaces with customers, vendors and Sales & Marketing to establish principal scope of work accuracy. Updates new and internal customer databases as required. Evaluates internal customers work-scope and provides man-hour costing per project. Provide pricing sheet reports for maintenance management and manpower. Coordinate outside vendor price quotes. Work with customer representatives concerning work-scope related items. Assist planning entering data for customer work-scopes and estimating new customer task cards. Assist Sales & Marketing in reviewing customer contracts. Proficient in MS office is a must. EEO employer.
QC Inspectors
Performs inspections of aircraft and aircraft components as required to ensure airworthiness is maintained under FAA guidelines and Part 145.63 Repair Station standards. Signs off on repairs to release aircraft components for installation, and performs inspections of the aircraft and or components as required to ensure airworthiness is maintained. Record defects found during the inspection on company or customer forms. Perform buyback inspections to ensure maintenance has been performed in accordance with acceptable data. Witness operation checks of aircraft systems to ensure the system operates as per manufacturer data. Assists the Quality Control Lead as required. Must have understanding of SRMs. Must know and understand audit procedures and basic inspection procedures. Must have knowledge of all aspects of Airframe, Avionics, Powerplants and systems. Must possess Airframe and Powerplant License, High School diploma or G.E.D. Must have 12-months or greater prior Quality Inspection experience at least and a FAM course for each aircraft type inspecting. Multiple positions.
Aircraft Technicians
Performs aircraft repairs and modifications on large aircraft as it relates to Structures , Systems, Avionics, and Interiors. Interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings and aircraft manuals for the purpose of performing repairs and modifications. Coordinates inspections of all work in progress through completion with inspector to assure satisfaction of FAA standards. Follows instructions on Service Bulletins and Material Repair Bulletins in order to repair and modify large aircrafts. Minimum 3 years experience, with 1 year working on large aircraft.
