Bay Supervisor:

Supervises and schedules maintenance technicians in the repair and modification of aircraft. The incumbent is responsible for efficient and effective use of manpower and maintenance of budget. In order to perform the job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each of the following satisfactorily:


  • interfaces with customers and AFS personnel by holding meetings concerning needs and pertinent information pertaining to specified projects and interfaces with materials, engineering, quality control and any other person/department as needed in order to assure complete satisfaction
  • assesses scheduling problems and rectifies situation by evaluating and identifying project needs
  • tracks budget hours and cost of project by bidding on upcoming jobs and estimating man hours for non-routine work
  • plans and schedules work assignments and the appropriate utilization of personnel
  • responsible for approving and adjusting time for maintenance technicians
  • identifies test equipment and confirms calibrations are current
  • researches SB & EO's, AD's for work content, tools, materials and tracks skill requirements

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • Airframe & Powerplant Licenses
  • high school diploma or greater
  • minimum - 2 years experience in large aircraft environment
  • minimum – 3 years prior supervisor experience
  • minimum - 5 years heavy jet experience with structural and/or system aircraft experience
  • personal computer and office software
  • preferred – MRO experience


NDT Inspector:

  • NDT technician to perform NDT testing using approved practices using precision measuring equipment.
  • Assist engineering with acceptable criteria by evaluating defective areas and coordinating necessary data.
  • Inspect work that has been done in order to accurately assess aircraft structures and components to determine results. NDT operations using Eddy current, Ultrasonic, Fluorescent magnetic particle and dye penetrant equipment using approved manufacturers data.
  • Maintain and update Aircraft records with details and results of performed NDT testing.

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years NDT experience
  • Eddy Current Level II
  • Ultrasonic Level II
  • Magnetic Particle Level II
  • Fluorescent Dye Penetrant Level II
  • Understand and operate NDT test equipment
  • Preferred Thermography training no level
