Aeroframe Services is a privately owned independent Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) company for large commercial transport aircraft. The company consists of two operating units, Aeroframe Services and Aeroframe Airepairs, which are both FAA certified FAR 145 Repair Stations.
Aeroframe Services is located at Chennault International Airpark in Lake Charles, LA and is housed in a hangar and office complex with approximately 750,000 square feet under roof. The company specializes in heavy maintenance and modifications of Airbus airframes. It has limited performance experience on DC-10 and DC-8 aircraft. It employs approximately 400 employees and contractors.
The company's hangars accommodate up to 12 wide body or 16 narrow body aircraft, with 100 acres of ramp storage space also available. A 30,000-sq-ft. climate-controlled warehouse is operated around-the-clock, with dedicated storage areas for customer stock, while backshops provide the full capability for repair work on composite parts, sheet metal, honeycomb panels, carbon, fiberglass fabrics, and prepregs.
Two downdraft, climate-controlled paint and paint-stripping hangars are sized to accept aircraft up to the Airbus A340 and Boeing 747, and they operate with all paint manufacturers' systems for interior and exterior applications. |
