Julie Nevils was born in Jackson, MS and raised in Lousiana. After her first year at L.S.U, Julie joined the United States Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst, served on the III MEF Commanding General’s brief team while stationed in Okinawa, JA and was honorably discharged in 1997. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University at the Cherry Point, NC campus while serving as an active duty Marine. She later received her Master of Science degree in Information Technology.
Julie started her programming career at Actel Commications in Mobile, AL as a programmer/analyst. She accepted a programming position for Xspedius Communications in Lake Charles, LA and was promoted to the Software Development Manger, and then promoted again to the Director of Operational Systems Support for software development. In March of 2003 Julie joined Aeroframe Services team. She is the Manager of the Information Technology Department and has also served as the Invoicing Manager. She is responsible for the company’s software, hardware, network, and phone systems.
Julie is married to Mike Nevils they have six kids: Michael, Cameron, Madeline, Cole, Clay, and Caylee. Julie obviously enjoys kids and spending time with her family.
Julie also enjoys yard work and reading, but will more than likely be found at the ball field on most afternoons watching one of the kids play the current season’s sport. She has been a member of Maplewood First Baptist Church for several years and teaches Children’s Church.
