Matt is a West Virginia native having moved to the Lake Charles area in 1981 with his parents. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Fairmont State College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from McNeese State University. He began his aviation career with Northrop Grumman as a stress engineer in 1998.
In 2001 he became one of the original team members of the newly formed EADS Aeroframe Services, a joint venture between Northrop Grumman and EADS Sogerma Services. During his tenure with EADS Aeroframe Services, Matt has held several positions including: Engineer, Manager of Quality Assurance, Director of Quality, Director of Development and Learning and US Vendor Manager (Contract to EADS Sogerma Services, Bordeaux, France.)
In 2005, when Aeroframe Services changed ownership, Matt became the Senior Engineer on staff and held the position of Engineering Manager until becoming Director of Operational Support in January 2010.
Matt is married to Lisa (Clement) and they have one daughter, Madison.
