Mike Long

Mr. Long is a native of Louisiana and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University in 1987 and has spent virtually his entire career in the aviation industry. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the states of Texas and Louisiana.
Upon graduation, Mr. Long began his career with The Boeing Company in Lake Charles, LA, where he spent 5 years and progressed from cost accountant to Accounting Supervisor. He then joined Mark IV Industries, a Boeing vendor, in Plano, TX for 7 years where he progressed from Accounting Supervisor to Controller and was responsible for the business operations for multiple units.
In 2000, Mr. Long joined JPMorgan Chase in Dallas, TX as Vice President of Quality and was responsible for site level quality control of the pension fund accounting operations for pension funds with over $1 trillion in plan assets. In 2002, he joined Decrane Aircraft as VP of Finance and Administration at their corporate jet cabinetry facility in Denton, TX.
In 2003, Mr. Long joined EADS Aeroframe Services as VP of Finance and in 2005 was promoted to Chief Financial Officer upon the acquisition of Aeroframe Services by Mr. Roger Porter. Mr. Long has substantial experience in corporate restructurings, corporate turnarounds, transition management and business plan development.
Mike is the proud parent of Erica, Zoe and Ethan.
