Steve Homan

Steve Homan was born in California and raised in several locations with his military family. Currently, he is a candidate for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He also holds FAA Airframe & Powerplant licenses.
After being honorably discharged from the USN in 1984, Steve dually served in the USNR, as an aircrewman for the past 17 years, and began his civilian career in aviation with Piper Aircraft Corp, Lakeland, FL. Steve is now a retired Naval veteran.
Spending the last 25 years in the aviation industry, He has worked his way up from Final Assembler to Director of Maintenance progressively. With opportunities to work at various companies such as Grumman, St. Augustine, FL, Naval Aviation Depot, Jacksonville, FL, Lockheed Support Systems, Jacksonville, FL, Cypress Aviation, Lakeland, FL, TIMCO Aviation, Lake City, FL, Oscoda, MI, and Macon, GA, EADS Aeroframe Services, Lake Charles, LA, Steve brings to Aeroframe Services an eclectic assembly of experiences gathered from both working with a variety of aviation professionals in addition to extensive travelling.
In 2003, Mr. Homan was recruited to Lake Charles, LA to join EADS Aeroframe Services team as a Project Manager. Between 2003 and 2007, he has served EADS and, now Aeroframe Services, as Night Shift Operations Manager, Production Manager, PMA Development Manager and currently Director of Maintenance. He is currently responsible for all production staff supporting all maintenance activities at the Lake Charles facility.
Steve is married to Stormy Homan. They have three children: Sarah, Jake and Tim. If he’s not watching NASCAR or football, you can find Steve mowing yards and clearing trees with his church’s Helping Hands program and the Disaster Relief Chainsaw Team.
